What if you could take control of your body and health, never diet again, and build your immunity against cancer and chronic diseases, simply by making strategic nutritional and lifestyle changes?
There is no shortage of data that shows how you live your life and nourish your body plays a prominent role in the reduction of risk for a variety of ailments, including diabetes and cardiovascular disease. But diet and lifestyle changes don’t just happen, and they usually don’t come easily.
Almost all of us know someone who has had a cancer scare. Maybe that someone is you. While we cannot control all the variables in what often seems like an arbitrary disease, we can make nutritional and lifestyle changes to decrease our risks and rates of recurrence.
As a longtime registered nurse, I am thrilled to be a Wellness Coach working on the forefront of nutritional and behavioral science. Our programs are about the whole person and are as unique as you are. There is no one-size-fits all approach.
I tailor customized wellness programs to help people kick-start their immunity and arm them against disease. The goal is to set the stage for a more hopeful future by creating a healthier today.
There are few things you can do to impact your life more powerfully and permanently than changing your diet. It has a direct impact on your body, mind and spirit. As a client, you’ll learn to eat foods that continually detoxify your body while building strength against chronic disease and cancer. As an added benefit, when you eat to protect your health, you’ll lose the extra weight for the last time, never count calories or feel deprived.
If you don’t know where to start, don’t worry. The first step is to set up a complimentary strategy session. Your goals are more achievable than you think, and there’s no reason to go it alone!
I look forward to hearing from you and helping you create a life of true wellness!
The dictionary’s definition of integrative is “to bring together or incorporate parts into a whole; to combine into one unified system.”
In the Western world, we tend to focus solely on the parts—taking mini-steps to improve our health through fad diets, gym memberships and prescription medications—hoping to find a magic cure. But as we all know, magic cures are illusive at best.
People are not just looking for good health. They seek wellness. True wellness entails tackling root causes to achieve an optimal lifestyle. It’s like connecting the pieces of a puzzle that make up the whole you. This includes things like relationships, physical activity, careers and spirituality.
As a long-time registered nurse, I have the credentials and first-hand experience to help anyone seeking to look and feel good. I was raised in a family of 15 children in North Dakota. I am both practical and resilient by nature and experience. My pragmatic approach has no pretense, just results.
My education has equipped me with extensive knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching and preventive health. Drawing on these skills and my knowledge of different dietary theories, I work with clients to help them make lifestyle changes that produce real and lasting results.
During my training, I studied hundreds of dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques, and innovative coaching methods with some of the world’s top health and wellness experts.
My teachers included Dr. Andrew Weil, Director of the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine; Dr. Deepak Chopra, leader in the field of mind-body medicine; Dr. David Katz, Director of Yale University’s Prevention Research Center; Dr. Walter Willett, Chair of Nutrition at Harvard University; and Geneen Roth, bestselling author and expert on emotional eating.
